Easy to Apply: Here’s How!
Applying our stickers is easy with this step-by-step guide. Follow the instructions for a perfect result. @Mike Bos shows you how it’s done. Don’t forget to check out his YouTube video for more details and his awesome Fristi 2.0 vlog.
Step 1: Preparation
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease
- Use a soft cloth and a degreaser (such as isopropyl alcohol) to remove dust and dirt
- For best adhesion, work at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C
Step 2: Positioning
- Carefully remove the sticker from the packaging
- For loose letters, thin stickers, or designs with multiple parts: use the included application film
- Cut the application film to size and place it over the sticker to keep everything in position
- Determine the correct position on the surface and, if needed, mark it with tape as a reference
Step 3: Using Application Film
(only for stickers that are difficult to apply by hand)
Application film is especially useful for:
- Loose elements that can easily deform (e.g., words or small logos)
- Stickers made of multiple parts that need to stay in a fixed pattern
How to use:
- Place the sticker with the application film on the desired spot
- Press firmly using a squeegee or soft cloth
- Slowly peel off the application film at an angle of about 45°, leaving the sticker neatly in place
Step 4: Applying (small stickers without application film)
- Remove the backing paper from the sticker
- Carefully place the sticker on the surface, starting from one side
- Press evenly with a soft cloth or squeegee to prevent air bubbles
Step 5: Using a Hair Dryer for Large Stickers
- For very large stickers, it can be tricky to apply them neatly, especially over curves or corners. To make the sticker more flexible:
- Ask a second person to help – one person holds the hair dryer while the other applies the sticker
- Gently heat the sticker with the hair dryer on a low to medium setting. Keep the dryer a few centimeters away and move it slowly back and forth so the sticker becomes warm and pliable
While the sticker is warm, you can bend and shape it over corners or curves. Work calmly from the center outward to avoid air bubbles
Let the sticker cool for a moment once it’s in place; this ensures it keeps its shape and adheres firmly
💡 Tip: Do not overheat the sticker, as this can cause deformation or damage
Step 6: Check
- Make sure the sticker is firmly attached and that there are no air bubbles remaining
- If needed, carefully use a needle to pop small air bubbles, then smooth them out with a squeegee or soft cloth
Step 7: Curing
- Let the sticker rest for 24 hours to ensure it adheres properly
- During this time, avoid extreme weather conditions such as rain or strong heat
Step 8: Done!

- Enjoy your new look and many safe kilometers ahead! 🚀
Bonus Tip: Hide Damage, Create a New Look
- Do you have a scratch on your rear fairing while the rest of your scooter still looks good? No worries – you don’t need to order expensive €200 fairings
- Lightly sand the area and apply a sticker over it. This neatly covers the damage and gives your scooter a completely fresh, new look – without the high costs
